Terms and Conditions – Shanti Lake Retreats

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Shanti Lake website (https://www.shantilake.com) and all bookings made for retreats, accommodations, or related services offered by DG (SIREN 941072852) trading as Shanti Lake.

By using our website or booking a service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not accept these Terms, please do not use our site or services.

2. Booking & Payment

Lodging

  • Lodging reservations may be made by:

    • Full payment at the time of booking, or

    • A deposit, with the remaining balance automatically charged at least one week before the scheduled arrival date.

  • You will receive an email confirmation once the final payment has been processed.

  • Payments are accepted via our online booking system using credit/debit card or other supported methods.

Yoga and Food Services

  • Yoga sessions, workshops, meals, and other retreat services are billed and payable onsite at the beginning or end of your stay, unless otherwise agreed with a retreat facilitator.

3. Cancellation & Refund Policy

Client Cancellations (Lodging)

  • More than 30 days before arrival: full refund of lodging fees minus a 5% admin fee.

  • 15 to 30 days before: 50% refund.

  • Less than 15 days before: no refund.

  • Cancellations by Shanti Lake

  • In the unlikely event that we cancel your lodging or event due to unforeseen circumstances, you will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule.

4. Travel & Insurance

  • Travel arrangements are the responsibility of the participant.

  • We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance that includes coverage for cancellation, illness, accident, and belongings.

5. Health & Liability

  • Participation in yoga or other physical activities is voluntary and at your own risk.

  • Please inform us or your facilitator of any relevant health conditions or allergies.

  • Shanti Lake and its team are not liable for injuries, loss, or damages incurred during your stay.

6. Conduct

  • We foster a peaceful, respectful atmosphere. Any disruptive behavior may lead to early departure without refund.

  • Alcohol, illegal substances, or disrespect toward staff or other guests will not be tolerated.

7. Use of Site and Content

  • All website content is the intellectual property of Shanti Lake and may not be reused without permission.

  • Personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of our website or services constitutes your agreement to the latest version.
